Album cover for ‘The Kick Inside’ by Kate Bush is playing with the drama and whimsical nature of Kates songs as well as her playful vocals. ‘The Kick Inside’ is an iconic and experimental album which has defiant style and tone which I encapsulated within my design. I created multiple sheets of embroidered textiles. The embroidery imitates Kate’s whimsical and playful signing style. I created a 3D and puckered effect on the fabric to imitate the depth of her music.
